My current routine is simple and quick (because, let's face it, thermodynamics is not a very alluring reason to wake up even earlier to brace windchills and snow), and here are some of the makeup products I've recently fallen back into loving.

Meet Sarah Eikenberry - a second year from Andover, Massachusetts, studying Comparative Human Development with a minor in German.
Meet Yamini Nambimadom - a second year Public Policy major. As the greatest love of her life will always be art, she has naturally found her way to several arts RSOs on campus, including Off-Off Campus, where she is both a performer and a publicity director, and MODA, where she is a photographer! If you’re trying to find Yamini on campus, there’s a 9/10 chance she'll be in Hallowed Grounds drinking a Chai Latte and eating something cheesy she made at home.

Here are some of my favorite accounts to grace your feed with some quality graphics!
Appreciation of graphic design (predominantly in the poster domain) has always been one of my hobbies, but not until recently did I discover the booming community on Instagram that shares this love. Albeit, I'm more of a gawker than a creator ("let's drop quantum mechanics to design loudly graphic posters" sometimes does cross my mind though, normally during p-sets), yet this recently curated list has been all my thumbs have been double tapping and scrolling of late.
As a lifelong Aritzia fan and shopaholic, my wallet and bank account cry as I write this post and curate some of my recent favorites from Aritzia's latest brand releases. Recently making my way to their new Chicago Flagship Store on Rush Street, I have noticed a couple new tags for brands I have yet to discover.
In the spirit of FW17 shopping sprees (and working extra shifts in the Reg to compensate for this), here are some of my favorite ~new releases~ from my favorite collective brand.
If we are being ~technical~ here, this fermentation journey is actually my second hobby, considering that I value my collection of sheet masks a valid hobby. My therapist disagrees with me on this one. Anyways, let's get into the science behind your newfound ability to refuse $10 bottles from Plein Air.
The playlist mixes older songs destined to bring back any nostalgic vibes (first year, 1:00 am jamming out with raisin bran in my Max twin bed, anyone?), as well as newer releases definitely worth discovering (i.e. St. Vincent's newest album - she'll be in Chicago in January just FYI!).
I've always found myself in an odd mix of skepticism and inspiration by the classic college promotion advertisement of "What Our Student's Do In A Day" - often too good to be true (read: do you really have time for yoga three times a week while taking honors analysis? These are the questions I'd like an answer to UChicago Administration!) yet often provocative of a lust for the glory of time management. In the spirit of breaking these mixed feelings, I've decided to embark on a journey of showcasing some of our blogger's daily schedules - whether they will be mundane (as mine), artistically inspiring, or spurn light-class-load envy is yet to be decided.
This edition of Brands to Know features DECIEM - the abnormal beauty brand! Self-described as a "humble and happy umbrella of good beauty brands," this Canadian company not only rocks high quality, affordably priced, and beautifully packaged products, but they focus on the impact that comes with being an abnormal beauty brand.

It is nothing groundbreaking to say that Uniqlo is the epitome of staple basics, full of simple yet high quality pieces and affordable prices. Infamous for various collaborations, the brand keeps things innovative and exciting each season. Partnering with British designer, J.W. Anderson, the brand's newest collaboration features quintessentially British staples reimagined and updated for the FW17 season.
Feeds to Follow: @artlexachung - recently, I stumbled upon an Instagram account, run by María and Beatriz Valdovín, dedicated solely to Alexa and art. With each post juxtaposing a shot of Alexa and a piece of classic art, I am endlessly scrolling and endlessly inspired. She's a classic (at least to me), she's next to classics, it's all beautiful and worth your immediate follow, whether you are an Alexa super-fan like me or not.
