Quad Style: Tekla Kitsmarishvili

Quad Style: Tekla Kitsmarishvili

For this edition of Quad Style, meet Tekla Kitsmarishvili, a fourth year from Tbilisi, Georgia.

How would you describe your personal style?

I would describe my personal style as polished, eclectic, and a little silly.

What are you wearing?

In these outfits, I’m wearing a Sandro quilted velvet coat, a Marc Jacobs velvet skirt, a Zara white button-down, Wolford tights, Prada boots, and a Sandro velvet backpack. Clearly, I have a thing for velvet.

Where do you find style inspiration?

Most of my style inspiration comes from my mother—she has an incredible personal style and I’m always getting ideas from her closet. Other than that, I peruse a ton of Instagram fashion bloggers like ManRepeller, Chiara Ferragni, Lena Perminova, etc. etc.

Where do you like to shop?

I love to mix and match luxurious pieces with ones from fast fashion. So, I’ll go for accessories from my favorites like Prada, Fendi, and Gucci and pair them with basics from Zara and Aritzia. Also, I love Maje and Sandro for staple pieces as well.

Do you have any fashion regrets? What's your biggest fashion faux pas?

Nope, no regrets. My biggest faux pas is probably white shoes (not white sneakers though, I love those.)

What is your relationship to fashion? Why is fashion important to you?

Fashion is something I grew up with and something I’ve always adored. I really do think it is an art form and it allows me to express myself in my own way. I also think it’s very culturally significant in my case, since Georgia is its own little fashion hub.
