It's no secret that I love Alexa Chung. She is (and probably always will be) one of my fashion idols, from her always polished and proper outfits to her infinitely chic lob. Few celebrities have ever caused so much awe and inspiration for me; I'm obsessed with her clothing line (though almost all will severely break my bank account), obsessed with her pale pink ensconced book, and even the typography on the about section of said clothing line (seriously, look below - impeccable!).

Recently, I stumbled upon an Instagram account, run by María and Beatriz Valdovín, dedicated solely to Alexa and art. With each post juxtaposing a shot of Alexa and a piece of classic art, I am endlessly scrolling and endlessly inspired. She's a classic (at least to me), she's next to classics, it's all beautiful and worth your immediate follow, whether you are an Alexa super-fan like me or not.

Above left is one of my favorite posts by María and Beatriz, mainly because I'm obsessed with the ruffle collar on Alexa's coat (please, someone find a similar one for me, or I'll probably sew some ruffly things onto a blazer and cannot promise a decent outcome). Above right is another great post–combining my love for Picasso's later eras and Alexa in a rocking denim skirt styled by Ben Rayner. Below is a bit more cubist (semi), abstract, loveliness, paired next to Alexa's Pop Magazine cover

"A Commercial Approach to Abstract Painting" by #GeorgeCondo (2006) / Alexa Chung for Pop Magazine by Harley Weir.

All in all, this account is unique, creative, and a source of endless inspiration for Alexa Chung and art fans alike (there is probably a large overlap between this categories, at least in my opinion). Follow their Instagram here
