Spring Makeup Wish-List

A new season, a new makeup collection? In an ideal world, that would be the case, but unfortunately, my wallet says a different story. However, that doesn't stop me from going "online-shopping." Here are my current spring obsessions on my wish-list!

Too Faced Natural Love Ultimate Neutral Eye Shadow Palette

If you're looking for a new spring palette, this is your perfect answer. I love Too Faced palettes, so I'm sure this one won't disappoint. Its large color selection can change your look from day-to-night, and since the palette comes with both mattes and shimmers, you have so many looks to try out. Also, it's a gorgeous palette to just have on your makeup counter and look at.

Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia Blush

As the sun starts to make its entrance, a nice flush can perfectly add that extra pop! What I love about this blush is that since it has the tinge of gold, you'll really get that sun-kissed glow without too much effort. Also, Benefit's boxed powders last a while, so you can probably use this until the summer!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil

I have Clarins lip perfecter, which I'm obsessed with, so I wanted to try some of their other products. Oils are perfect for the spring since they're super lightweight and user-friendly. Also, they add that light tinge of red without being too bold, great for a daily look!

Deborah Lippmann Bed of Roses Nail Polish Set

Since the weather is nice, the sandals and flip flops will come out, but something I always forget to do until I look down is paint my nails! I love this nail polish set because I think the colors are perfect for the spring. Since they come in a range of both light and dark colors, you'll definitely have options to play around with for a day and night look!

Spring Makeup Lineup

To achieve a fresh, dewy glow for the arrival of Spring, I've put away my heavy foundation and started reaching for something lighter. In this day and age, using highlighters to get that dewy finish is one of the biggest trends in makeup and is perfect for the Spring! Below are my favorite products for getting that coveted look.

1. MILK Cooling Water

This highly sought-after cult favorite of MILK's is the perfect thing to use before applying any makeup, or just if you want to go bare-faced and to have your under-eye circles taken care of. This stick functions to reduce puffiness and to moisturize the skin overall.

2. ELF Moisturizing Primer

Sometimes, I find myself perusing the aisles of 53rd Street's new Target, and this has been my latest drugstore acquisition. This primer (which has excellent reviews online, I've found) smoothes the skin and provides enough moisture so my skin doesn't get oily during the day.

3. NARS The Multiple Stick

I am very guilty of sometimes using blush as eye makeup, lipstick as blush, and so on. This little stick functions to do whatever you want it to, all in a highly pigmented, but very blend-able formula. My favorite color is G-Spot, which provides a subtle berry shimmer.
