The playlist mixes older songs destined to bring back any nostalgic vibes (first year, 1:00 am jamming out with raisin bran in my Max twin bed, anyone?), as well as newer releases definitely worth discovering (i.e. St. Vincent's newest album - she'll be in Chicago in January just FYI!).
So about a month or two ago my friend asked in a group chat “yo does anyone wanna see this band.” Two months later and uhhhh, yeah, see this band. Watch out for this band. Like tape your eyelids up (earholes open?) so they don’t close when you look at (listen to) this band – because they haven’t even released an LP yet and they’re still one of my favorite bands right now.

Spring has sprung, or at the very is is springing - lots of rain, lots of sun, and lots of sounds. Sounds of things waking up. These sounds are sometimes dreary and cloudy - the drone/ambient part of the playlist. And sometimes they are upbeat and bright - which takes up the rest of the playlist but doesn't fit into exactly one genre. And sometimes they are in between!
