Brands to Know: CYO
For anyone who prowls the aisles of drugstores looking for the next cult product, the introduction of the brand CYO in Walgreens is a particularly welcome surprise. Made by the UK favorite Boots London, CYO is a brand based on the idea "Mix Layer Hack," which is extremely convenient given that no product clocks in over 8$. I discovered this brand while perusing the aisles of Duane Reade in New York, and have been patiently awaiting its full arrival in Chicago (it has limited availability, and is mostly in downtown stores, where you can best believe I have been scouting it out). To be honest, I was very surprised at the quality of the goods- so if you are around Walgreens and want to give CYO a try for less than the cost of your afternoon snack at Pret. I recommend trying their blush, foundation and their chrome eyeshadows for a surprisingly fresh looking face.
