Brands to Know: L'OEIL

Sure Zara may be known as the home of the ultimate minimalist designer knock-offs (hey we can't all afford the original Celine designs). L'OEIL (French for "eye") one-ups Zara in the realm of minimalist, just-off-beat-enough-to-look-crazy-expensive designs that were made to be photographed and channel your inner Man Repeller a la Leandra Medine.

The price point is a little bit higher than the Spanish fast-fashion chain but considering the pieces look high-end designer and you won't bump into three girls wearing the same piece walking down the quad, we'd say #worthit.

Their spring offerings are full of bold colors, feminine riffs on shirting and ruffles that read more high fashion Rosie Assoulin than school girl.

Their accessories game is also equal parts minimalist and luxe-eccentric with oversize sculptural earrings and sleek purses with a twist.
