Brands to Know: Ader Error

Seoul Fashion Week just ended, but no one is forgetting the city any time soon. Seoul is quickly becoming one of the world's fashion capitals, joining the likes of New York, Paris, Tokyo, and more. Not only is its street style becoming more well-known, but there are a number of unique South Korean brands being shot into the spotlight, one of which is Ader Error.  

Characterized by a variety of bold colors, oversized silhouettes, and cheeky graphics, Ader Error seems to be Acne Studios' younger South Korean sister. Their motto is "But near missed things," and in an interview with HighSnobiety, they said, "We reinterpret things that people would be able to miss easily, and suggest a different minimalism."

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the brand is the genderless nature of the pieces, which can be interpreted as being rebellious against Korean gender roles. Almost all of their pieces are unisex, and many are modeled on both guys and girls. The minimalist, oversized aesthetic is flattering on many, and the best part is that it remains playful and comfortable. 

Ader Error focuses on casual clothing and accessories, with their pullover sweatshirts being amongst their bestsellers. Although most pieces fall between $50 and $150, they frequently have sales, so you can cop your favorite pieces well below their original prices.
