How would you describe your personal style?

My style changes a lot, so it's a little difficult to describe it. I like to mix men's fashion with more feminine pieces, and I also like to play around with interesting structures and fits, like oversized jackets or cropped hems. I usually stick to black and white or neutrals, but I also love being extra with my accessories! I own a lot of fur coats and big chokers. I think I'm a lot more concerned with dressing interestingly than necessarily looking pretty.

Where do you find style inspiration?

There are a few bloggers and celebrities whose styles I think are cool. Some of my go-to style inspirations are CL, Bella Hadid, Jeanne Grey, Christina Liu, and Emily Mei. I also really like Nylon Magazine and Love Magazine's fashion spreads. In general, I love when people aren't afraid to take risks with their fashion and wear things that are a little different. I think that makes their style far more unique, and I tend to want to emulate that kind of individuality and fearlessness rather than a particular style.

Where do you like to shop?

I wear a lot of Zara and Topshop. I also like Stüssy, Opening Ceremony, and Kith. I shop online a lot, and some of my favorites are Shadow Hill, kycvintage, Missguided, and asos.

Do you have any fashion regrets?

I honestly think being uncomfortable is the biggest fashion mistake you can make. I always regret it when I go out wearing a skirt that keeps riding up, for example, or when I'm wearing an outfit that doesn't make me feel confident.

What is your relationship to fashion? Has it changed over time?

I've always loved shopping and beauty and fashion, ever since I was really young. I think I just loved the independence of being able to choose how I look. That hasn't really changed much.

Why is fashion important to you?

When I was younger, fashion made me very self conscious. I wanted to make sure that I was following all the rules and wearing what everyone else would like. Now, I view it as something a lot more personal and internal rather than external. To me, fashion is a lot more about how what I'm wearing makes me feel than how it makes me look. It has the ability to let you be whoever you want to be, which is what I love most about it.
